In 1980, WALL'S IRON WORKS was providing handrails, gates and fences to the builders and residents of Wayne County. In 1995, we more than doubled our facilities and began fabricating more structural steel.  While also growing our line of ornamental fabrications. In 1997, We incorporated and changed our name. Our new name is to reflect our work ethic, our commitment to quality and our Motto,  "GROWTH THROUGH EXCELLENCE" In late 2001, We purchased more machinery to increase fabrication capabilities. Beyond structural steel & beams, STEEL SMART fabricates and installs ornamental iron drive gates, pedestrian gates, fences, handrails, stairs, spiral stairs, and many ther speciality items. Our expertise in fabricating includes adding curves, brass, bronze, stainless steel, and thousands of ornamental componts to individualize each job according to specifications.
